Is war ever necessary?

I don't think war is necessary. At a certain point it is necessary. War it is like where you can kill people and get away with it. A war shouldn't happen if everyone gets along. When other people are treating to kill people from out country it makes us want to start a war. War shouldn't happen if people just talk about it and work things out. It not necessary to just go around an kill people. In a war people are killing people that have nothing to do with the war, they start killing children over things that isn't necessary. So no its not necessary.

How Your Life Would Be Different Blog Post

1. There would be no freedom
2. We would still be controlled by Britain
3.We would not have our own army if we was controlled by Britain still.


My life would be different because there would be no freedom, and we will be controlled by another country. America being controlled by Britain was not good we would have no freedom. Freedom is an important thing to me. If America was stilled controlled by Britain then I would not have the good life that I have now. I'm just glad that we are our own country and that we don't have to be bossed around by another country. The good thing about us being controlled by Britain is that now we have that freedom that they always wanted for us back then. Just being an independent country just made mine and other people life much easier. We would still have kids working and adults working a lot just for a little bit of money. So America having that change back then made a difference on a lot of thing. Being controlled would not make us the strong country that we are today. We wouldn't have a strong army if we were still controlled by Britain. Just all the difference that the war made was good. We have our freedom and we have a strong country.

How did European exploration and colonization forever change the landscape and lives of people in the Old World and the New World?

It changed the Old World by most of their people moving to the New World to live. The Old World was change by everything that they took to the New World was now being made there. The New World was making their own crops and they had their own animals to do thing with. The Old World was getting things from the New World like corn, coca, peppers, and tomatoes. The New World was getting better landscape. The people from the Old World was making the housing for the New World so a lot of the people from the Old World was staying in the New World. The Old World made money buy treading to the New World. The Old World was selling them things that they needed to cook with but also the New Wold was selling the Old World good health food. It changed by people in the New World having their own businesses. They also was getting diseases that was killing off people. In the long run they both benefited from it.

Discovering the Undiscovered- Would you go?

It is the year 2020 and you, an astronaut, have been asked to lead a voyage into a part of outer space that very little is known about. Would you go?

What would come out of where I went into outer speace. I would have maybe found a new species of human when i was out there. I might also find something that could cure cancer. You never know what you might find in outer speace.

The risk that will be involved would be someone could get killed, the speaceship could crash and hurt someone that was on it. There are a lot of risk that you will have to take if you do something like that.

I'm not sure if I would go to outer speace. Going out there is a lot of risk and I don't anyone to get hurt or something happen when we are in outer speace. Just being out that far would be scarey. Now that I think of it I don't think I would got. Yes it would be fun. But it's a lot of trouble to get there and there are many risk that are involved. Outer speace just isn't for me.

What modern invention has had as great of an effect on the spread of knowledge in our society as the printing press did on Renaissance society? Why?

The printing press had a big impact on the Renaissance society. With the printing press they could make more books and they could have more of them for people to buy and read. The printing press also brought down the price of books. The printing press also had it where more people can learn to read and write. When they learn to read and write then they can be smarter people in the society then. By them being smarter then they can teach people how to read and write. They can make schools for the kids to go to. The printing press has made a difference back then.

The big impact on today’s society is the internet. The internet is a place where people can go and learn more about things that they don’t know are that they already know. The internet gives you information on something. You may know a little bit about something but you may want to know more so you can just use the internet and look it up. The internet can help you out in different ways. You can go to places where you may want to look up map for to show you how to get somewhere. It is so useful. So the internet has a big impact.

Do you agree with the famous Latin saying carpe diem? Why? or Why not?

I don't agree with it because if they arent concerned about the furture then they have no goals about what they want to do with their life. People need to be concerned about the future because they need to know what they want to do with their life. They shouldn't just sit there and let time pass with out seeing what they really want to do with their future. Knowing what they want to do will make the future better for them. The future is very important to look forward to. The future has plan and if you go ahead and make the plans for what you want you future to be then you should plan for it. Don't just sit there and let the world make up you future for you. Thats why I don't agree with it.

Why do you think religions exist?

The reason I think religion exist is because a lot of people like to be different. By them being different for each other make us have different religions. We really shouldn’t have different religion. But we can’t help how things were made up. The different religion is a good thing but it can cause a lot of conflict between people. So many people come from different religion and it’s a good thing, having so many people from the same religion can be hard. There are different religions and that it can be very good. Not everyone has to come from the same religion they come from different. Its just good to have different religion. The point that I’m trying to make is that religion exist because how it was brought up from a long time ago and it’s how people were thought during them days and that’s how I think it exist.
